ABOUT me
WELCOME! I’m Janesse Fourie, a passionate and experienced physiotherapist that qualified from University of Stellenbosch in 2013. My special interest lies in Women's Pelvic Health. Prior to stepping into this field, I have gained expertise and further training in various other specialised fields including neurological rehabilitation, Pilates, and chronic pain management.
My personal experiences during puberty and as a mother of three have shaped my deep understanding of women’s health. I have had the privilege of experiencing both c-section and vaginal births, which allows me to relate to and support women no matter their birth story. I love being able to serve women in all stages of life, whether they’re navigating puberty, pregnancy, recovering from childbirth, navigating menopause or managing chronic pelvic pain.
In addition to physiotherapy, I qualified as a Lactation Consultant from the University of Witwatersrand. This enabled me to assist new mothers with all feeding related difficulties and navigating those first precious few months with their newborns.
At the heart of my work is the belief that every woman deserves to feel heard, understood, and capable of achieving her health goals. I am here to help you understand, restore balance and find confidence in your body.
